Gui lianyou
Dr. GUI Lianyou - born in1964, in Tuanfeng County, Hubei province, P. R. China. Professor Entomology, Master tutor of Yangtze University and Councilor of Hubei Entomological Society. Awarded his PhD degree in agronomy in Zhejiang University in 2005 and Visited Potato Research Centre of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC)  as a senior visiting scholar form August 2008 to August 2009. Hosted or conducted 12 national or provincial research projects, funded more than 2 million RMB in total, with 3 projects ongoing. Published over 40 academic papers, among which 3 have been indexed by SCI, and 2 by EI. Co-published a fundamental textbook-《Agricultural  Acarology》for Acarology majors. Areas of expertise: Insect ecology- insect harmonic radar tracking technology (only one in China) and Pneumatic control for agricultural insect pests (Insect collector).
